Turn a stripped screw hole
into a solid fixing point.
HingeFix™ uses a compact metal expansion sleeve and matching screw to reinforce worn or stripped cabinet fixing holes — helping you repair loose hinges without replacing the entire panel.
Once the old hole is stripped,
a normal screw has nothing left to grip.
Repeated tightening can enlarge damaged fixing holes until the original screw no longer holds securely. HingeFix™ adds an expanding metal sleeve inside a properly prepared hole to create a new mechanical fixing.
Insert the sleeve.
Tighten the screw.
As the supplied screw is tightened, the metal sleeve expands inside the prepared hole, creating a wider grip point than the screw alone.
Made for the fixing holes that stopped fixing.
Cabinet Hinges
Reinforce suitable worn hinge mounting points without replacing the entire cabinet panel.
Expanding Sleeve
Tightening the screw expands the metal sleeve inside the prepared fixing hole.
Short Design
The approximately 14 mm sleeve is designed for applications with limited installation depth.
Multi-Repair
Useful for suitable hinges, furniture hardware, brackets and similar fastening repairs.
A loose hinge doesn't always mean replacing the door.
When the original fixing hole becomes worn, HingeFix™ gives you another repair option by reinforcing the fixing location with metal rather than relying on damaged material alone.
Short enough for furniture panels.
The expansion sleeve measures approximately 6 × 14 mm while the supplied screw is approximately 16 mm long with a 4 mm thread diameter.
Drill. Insert. Position. Tighten.
Prepare The Hole
Verify panel thickness, then prepare an approximately 6 mm diameter hole about 15 mm deep.
Insert The Sleeve
Clean away drilling debris and seat the 14 mm metal expansion sleeve in the hole.
Position Hardware
Align your compatible hinge, bracket or fitting over the prepared fixing location.
Tighten
Install the matching screw until the sleeve expands and grips securely.
Good repair starts with the right hole.
Hole diameter, drilling depth and panel thickness all affect the finished fixing. Check measurements before drilling.
Compact all-metal expansion.
The reference product uses a metal expansion sleeve with a matching steel screw and yellow zinc-plated finish, providing a compact mechanical fastening option for compatible repair applications.
Keep a set around for small furniture repairs.
The compact anchors can be useful anywhere a compatible small fixing point needs reinforcement, including selected furniture hardware, door tracks, brackets and cabinet fittings.

Frequently Asked Questions
What does HingeFix™ repair?
It is designed primarily to reinforce compatible worn or stripped fixing holes commonly found around cabinet hinges, furniture hardware and similar fittings.
How does the expansion anchor work?
The metal sleeve is inserted into a correctly prepared hole. Tightening the matching screw causes the sleeve to expand and grip the surrounding material.
What size hole should I drill?
The reference product recommends approximately a 6 mm diameter hole with around 15 mm of depth. Verify your material and available depth before drilling.
How thick should the panel be?
The reference recommends panel thickness greater than approximately 15 mm / 0.59 inches.
Can I use these for cabinet hinges?
Yes. Repairing loose cabinet and furniture hinge fixing points is the primary application shown by the reference product.
Can they be used in tile or stone?
The supplier also lists selected compatible stone, marble and tile applications. These materials require an appropriate drill bit and careful installation. Brittle materials can crack if drilled or expanded incorrectly.
What comes in each set?
Each fixing uses one expansion sleeve and one matching screw. The reference offers 30, 50 and 100-fixing options.
Can I just install it into the old damaged hole?
The fixing requires a correctly sized and prepared installation hole. Check the existing damage, panel thickness and available drilling depth before use.
Verify panel thickness and available drilling depth before installation. Check for hidden wiring, pipes or other concealed components before drilling. Wear appropriate eye protection. Do not overtighten, particularly in brittle materials such as tile or stone. Incorrect hole size, insufficient panel thickness or excessive expansion can weaken the fixing or damage the surrounding material. Keep small screws and anchors away from children and pets.
